Mobile subscriptions increased significantly in six of the six countries with the speed index (France, UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, and Australia).

Europe-wide mobile subscriptions increased by 4.9% to 865 million subscribers. This demonstrates the strong mobile penetration trend that began in 2010 and is expected to continue in the foreseeable future.

The Speed Index Based On Average Connection Speed (which is calculated with a simple threshold of connection speeds) shows the growing popularity of mobile broadband. Users say they want higher speeds and we’re starting to see that in our market.
